American Mastering is a unique situation, these folks have great ears, great gear and a love of music and technology that means everything I send them to Master from the Command Sisters to Dylan Holland or more, all comes out with a shine and glow and radio ready 'oomph' that nobody else comes close to delivering. Nobody. We love American Mastering, they listen to us and help us and they are the only mastering service we use now. "My name is Si Perkoff. I am a jazz pianist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I recently recorded a solo piano CD in my home. It turned out that my microphone placement was incorrect so that there was a lot of upper register distortion affecting what was an otherwise good recording. I took my DAT to several people who simply said they could not correct the problem. American Mastering Labs said they not only could do it, but that they were the best people for the mastering. Although I am only a small fish in the music business ocean, AML gave me 100% of their expertise along with enthusiasm for my product and the highest standards of what they were trying to achieve.
